Care
Thrives in acidic, organic-rich, well-draining soil. Maintain a thick layer of organic mulch to conserve moisture and protect the shallow root system.
Maintenance
Water regularly to keep soil uniformly moist but not waterlogged, especially during hot summer months. Do not fertilize late in the season to prevent tender frost-susceptible new growth.
Cleanup
