Notes

This columnar shrub is grown for its bright yellow foliage, which retains its color through the summer without scorching, and its orange-red fall color. It is very deer-resistant. Note that this species (Berberis thunbergii) is considered highly invasive in some areas, as birds may distribute its seeds.
