Care
Fireglow is an excellent red upright Japanese maple tree that reaches 10-12 ft in 15 years. Water regularly, especially in dry weather. Protect from harsh afternoon sun in hot climates.
Maintenance
Low maintenance. Prune lightly during dormant season or summer to shape; avoid pruning in spring when sap runs.
Cleanup
Clean up fallen leaves in late autumn.
Notes
Similar to Bloodgood but has less deeply divided leaves and a more intense red color that persists through summer. Cost reflects an estimated retail average for a 1-quart sized Japanese Maple.
