Care
'Katsura' is a very vigorous grower and can reach up to 15 ft in height in 15 years. Protect from harsh afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch, and mulch well to retain root moisture.
Maintenance
Prune lightly during dormancy in late winter or early spring to shape and remove dead wood. Avoid pruning in late spring when the sap is running.
Cleanup
Rake and clear fallen deciduous leaves in late autumn to minimize overnight pest habitats and fungal spore overwintering.

Highly prized for its stunning seasonal transitions, emerging with striking bright orange-yellow foliage in early spring before maturing to a beautiful chartreuse-green.
